Bible Card Sunday - Gary Wayne

Gary Wayne spent 6 seasons in the Majors (1989-1994) primarily as a left-handed reliever with the Twins. He also played a season each with the Rockies and Dodgers.

Wayne was originally drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 23rd round of the 1983 amateur draft, but did not sign. In 1984 the Montreal Expos drafted him in the 4th round, then in 1988 he was drafted by the Minnesota Twins from the Montreal Expos in the rule 5 draft. Wayne would finally make his Major League Baseball debut with the Minnesota Twins on April 7, 1989, and appeared in his final game on June 3, 1994.
He was a member of the inaugural Colorado Rockies in 1993.

Gary signed the card adding John 3:3 which says:
“I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
