I mailed to 13 players in Angels camp at the beginning of Spring Training, 13 sure bets I thought.
After weeks of no returns, thinking I was going to strike out and go 0 for 13, I finally got a return.
Luetge was signed as a free agent last November.
He signed these cards in 39 days from Angels Spring Training.
I, too, had a bit of a disappointing spring. I sent out way more this year than normal, all minor league guys, and I have got back under 30%. Hopefully we will have a couple more trickle in.
