Ripping a random pack of junk wax from the local junk mall.
Pack of twelve cards, no inserts.
But you could pull a coveted A, B, C, D, E, or F copyright variation!
I liked these when they first came out, and I still do. This is probably my favorite Stadium Club design.
Loved the idea of the rookie card on the back.
Anyone out there ever sign up for this Club Membership?
Never opened any of this, but did open a lot of '92 SC, which is why that one (or '93) is probably my favorite.

ReplyDeleteThe inaugural design was my favorite too. At the time I was working at my LCS and this stuff was very hot, so packs were expensive. I did open my fair share though... looking for Griffey, Thomas, Bagwell, and Plantier cards.
ReplyDeleteI signed up for the Club Membership. It came with some boxed sets of cards... and a really cool Nolan Ryan bronze card.
It was too expensive for me at the time. I've been able to open a few since. Didn't know about the Letter Variations until recently.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall the letter variations being a thing that anyone cared about at the time. Seems like that's only become relevant (to some) since the TCDB started highlighting them.
