With all that going on, I seemed to have missed my 10th Anniversary of this blog.
It all started on October 1, 2009 with the desire to display my collection and tie it to Angels history. The name The Angels, In Order (note the comma) was derived from the idea that I would post about every player to ever appear in an Angels uniform, IN THE ORDER of their appearance, along with scans of their stuff from my collection: cards, autographs, signed index cards, correspondence, etc. I eventually got a little off that track in that I’m not sticking to the IN ORDER anymore, but the blog is still obviously centered around my Angels collection.
Anyhow, what I had planned for last October was to offer a free drawing for a baseball card, to celebrate ten years doing this, and to show my appreciation to those that have followed, traded with, and encouraged me.
So here it is. All you need do is leave a comment, and your name will be put in a hat for an old-school hand-drawn giveaway. I’ll run this over the weekend, and have a drawing mid-week next week.
