Yes.
If you've read anything serious about him, taken into consideration his situation and the times he was playing in (the power that owners had) and looked at his statistics, then yes, he should be in the Hall of Fame.

No, I'm not a Blue Jays collector now, it's just that I need a lot of Blue Jays for various collections and where better to get them from than a friend in Canada.

Always thought that Jackson's lifetime ban should have ended when his lifetime did...

DeleteI agree with Matt, his lifetime is over therefore the ban should be too! Now to the card....colorized Conlon, love it.
ReplyDeleteNice Mattingly
ReplyDeleteVoting for the George Bell DK.
ReplyDeleteJackson should be in. His life is over, so his lifetime ban should be over. I'm comfortable with Pete Rose getting that same condition. He gets in after he dies
ReplyDeleteYes Mattingly should be in! :)
ReplyDeleteRe Jackson - if you think the ban was unjust, put him in. If you feel a lifetime ban was just, then why put him in after he dies? The actions did not become less wrong because the guy died. Same with Rose.
Nice John Hannah rainbow! Love those 1986 McDonald's football cards. And that Joe Jackson card is fantastic. I'm with you. Put him in.
ReplyDeleteI tend to agree with Bo's opinion on Joe's eligibility.
ReplyDeleteI had that Mattingly set with the binder and record (might still have it somewhere). One of the first things I remember buying at a card shop!
