It's been about a year since my last update of my other hobby - scale modeling. Here are some of the kits I've finished in the last year.
1/72 Hasegawa, M5 High Speed Tractor with 155mm Long Tom
1/35 Peerless, 155mm Howitzer
Built for a friend who manned one in the Army in the 60's.
1/76 Airfix, Morris Tractor and 40mm Bofors Gun
1/25 Revell, '34 Ford Roadster
Built in tribute to a fellow modeler who passed away.
1/76 Airfix, AEC Matador and 5.5" Gun
1/35 Monogram, M48 Patton Tank
1/72 Heller, Republic F-84G Thunderjet
1/72 Hobby Boss, Republic F-84E Thunderjet
1/48 Arii, Scud Launcher
1/25 Revell, 1969 Chevy Nova
Another tribute build.
1/25 AMT, Ford Econoline Van
1/76 Airfix, Scammell Transporter with Matilda Tank.
I like the two tribute builds best. I can't remember when I built a model last. With hand tremors and small motor skills lacking I don't think I could build anything now. I had a lot of fun building models when I was in high school and College. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteChevy Nova wins it.
ReplyDeleteNice job on the builds. I used to build models when I was younger but then I'd play with them and smash them up. :) You must have a lot of patience to build these with such detail.
ReplyDeleteI never built any as a kid, I did have a cousin that was totally into it, and probably still is. We are the same age. I collected cards he built models. Nice job on the builds, and that is a bunch you must have been busy!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on all of these models! I'm especially fond of the Army builds. That Scud Launcher is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteReally nice work! To be able to have that level of skill in multiple disciplines is not common. 1/76 is a fun scale. I built my first in tribute to my clubs president who passed away, it was his preferred scale.
