Kyle Abbott was a Major League pitcher from 1991-1996, playing for the Angels and Phillies. He began and finished his career with the Angels. Abbott was drafted by the Angels in the 1st round (9th pick) of the 1989 amateur draft.
He went 1-3 with the Angels with a 7.23 ERA in 23.2 innings.
He also had a difficult year with the Phillies when he went 1-14 in 19 starts in 1992 the same year he gave up 20 home runs.
