One Page Of Clyde King

This series highlights "one page" at a time from my binder of correspondence and autographs from former players and personnel.

   Clyde King
Brooklyn Dodgers (1944–1945, 1947–1948, 1951–1952)
Cincinnati Redlegs (1953)
He was also a coach, manager and general manager for several teams.

"When I was growing up Baseball was my life and 58 years later it still is!! God has blessed me and I've enjoyed it each year. I've lived in 25 major cities and met 6 Presidents and been almost around the world all because of baseball, so you can see I love this great game!"

Correspondence received February 2003.

King passed away on November 2, 2010, at the age of 86.

  1. Nice letter. I have his signature as part of my Giants managers collection and it's on a reprint of his super-derp 1952 Topps card.
