Officiated in eight no-hitters.
Correspondence received January 2004.
Burkhart passed away December 29, 2004 at the age of 88.

ReplyDeleteMr. Burkhart was in his late 80's. I'd say he earned himself a pass. Wasn't familiar with him, but dedicating almost 30 years of his life to baseball is impressive.
