Two guys that played 16 and 21 NHL seasons, respectively.
Pretty impressive.
Bobby Smith was one of my favorite North Stars. I met him one night at my local Dairy Queen. He was on his way back to Minneapolis from a celebrity tennis tournament 120 miles north of Minneapolis. I met him when he stopped to get ice cream on his way home and got his autograph there at the DQ. Nice guy!

ReplyDeleteNo sophomore slump here. Upper Deck's second hockey set featured a pretty awesome rookie class with several hall of fame rookie cards. Hasek, Forsberg, Lidstrom, and Selanne are the four that come to mind... but I might be missing some.
