ANGELS TRANSACTIONS:
Sent by the St. Louis Cardinals to the Los Angeles Angels to complete an earlier deal made on April 5, 1963. The Cardinals sent a player to be named later to the Los Angeles Angels for Bob Botz.
April 17, 1965: Traded by the California Angels to the Boston Red Sox for Hal Kolstad.

ANGELS DEBUT:
Replaced starter Dean Chance in the top of the 9th trailing 3-2 with 2 outs and 2 on and faced pinch hitter Roman Mejias who would reach on an error by Jim Fregosi, in an eventual 5-2 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Monday, September 9, 1963 (N) at Chavez Ravine.
