I do believe that this might be the first pack of Topps Archives that I have ever bought. I don't buy a ton of cards as it is, and I usually go for the more bang for the buck packs. But I was in Target, I wanted to rip something, and it was between Archives, Stadium Club and Ginter. Ginter is definitely not my thing, and I'm not too impressed with Stadium Club, so Archives it was.
...and 1994 Topps is one of my least favorite designs.
Well, at least I got to rip something.
You got some good retired players.
ReplyDeletePhoto on the Hank Aaron card is cool.
ReplyDeleteBleah ... I'm gonna have to get a pack or two of this just for the blog post, but who knows if my Target has this (or anything). Weather hasn't been decent enough to check.
ReplyDeleteI grabbed a handful from Ormond last week. Nothing special, the 61' design is okay. That Gunnar above his name is giving me triple vision.
DeleteI feel like the ‘94 design is underrated but wish the Rays would’ve had a better color scheme on them.
ReplyDeleteThe Aaron is cool... but I think his original 1994 Topps card is cooler. Overall I'm not too impressed with Archives this year, but I will pick up a few of the Fan Favorites autographs.
ReplyDeleteI like that the Jose Ramirez and Oneil Cruz cards as they are two players I collect.
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the 1970 design. They were the first packs I ever bought at the age of 8. I'm still working on my prolonged set build of the 2019 Topps Heritage set that uses the 1970 design. I still need about 50 cards. They are all SP's.
