ANGELS DEBUT:
Starting in right he fielded a Roger Maris double that scored Tom Tresh on two outs in the top of the first. Batting third in the bottom of the first, he singled to left off Ralph Terry, advancing Albie Pearson to second. Went on that day to go 3-for-4 with a 2-run shot in the fourth, in a 3-2 win over the Yankees on Friday, June 5, 1964 (N) at Chavez Ravine.
