ANGELS TRANSACTIONS:
Purchased by the California Angels from the San Francisco Giants on August 18, 1965.
Later traded by the California Angels with Jackie Warner to the Kansas City Athletics for Roger Repoz on June 15, 1967.

ANGELS DEBUT:
As the starting pitcher the first batter he faced was Zoilo Versalles who singled to left. A strikeout, single, stolen base, strikeout, groundout and he was out of the inning. He went six giving up 1 on 6 hits and striking out 3, getting the 3-1 win against the Minnesota Twins on Friday, August 20, 1965 (N) at Chavez Ravine.

ANGELS RECORD:
Appeared in 71 games from 1965-1967 and started 20 going 17-11 with 4.12 ERA. Went 13-7 in 1966.

Best Angels Performance:
Retrosheet didn't really have a top pitching performance as an Angel, but he did hit a triple with an RBI in a 5-2 loss to the Yankees on Saturday, April 29, 1967 (D) at Yankee Stadium I.
